Founded in 1862 as 'Whitfield & Son' the firm later became K Hugh Dodd & Bowen and transferred to the present name of Bowen Son and Watson in 1967.

As an ongoing policy we have continued to regularly update our facilities throughout all our offices. We introduced a computerised mailing system back in 1982 and since then after many upgrades, all our offices use an instant seller to purchaser matching register.

July 2003 saw the incorporation of our new digitally produced state of the art property brochures. These are individually prepared at each of our offices on the day we inspect and measure your property. Following your approval they are then fast emailed to our custom printer in Newcastle upon Tyne for a next day courier returned delivery.

Our digital cameras facilities give crisp and clear images on the particulars with both internal and external views. These photographs are also available to show to potential purchasers on our in-house computer screens.  

In 2003 we expanding and opened further accommodation to supplement our very busy sales and lettings office in King Street, Wrexham.  The premises are on a prominent corner location with triple window frontage, illuminated displays and a cool telephone number. 01978 340000

We have recently upgraded our computer software to Encore Live which links each of our offices so that we can print details on demand from any of our branches.

In 2007 we opened a further office in Berwyn Street, Llangollen to compliment and expand our Chirk facilities.

2012 celebrates 150 years in the property business.
